This dude’s made for covering the Dylan!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@scottcfleetwood its my old style Scott😎, I was a Dylan scholar in the 70’s!
Loved it Sir. Bless you.
Well done buddy Passionate rendition nuanced with dylaneque raspiness Top notch!!
@@shefki9125 thanks, that is the way I sing…at my age😄

aah the birth of the mash-ups! great work on this Robbie!
@@scottcfleetwood that came out surprisingly good considering the equipment 😁
#1 song of flordia
I remember even these came out. Always wanted one, but was just a kid lol. Didn't have the cash... 😆
Excellent demo great amp great vid great playing .kev from the uk😊
日本から クリーントーンの良いセッティングがあったら教えて欲しいです
@@モン吉-d2j I no longer own this amp, this video was 11 years ago but probably the best thing for a clean sound is to use one of the later Fender models , like a Twin and turn the GAIN settings way down and SAVE the setup. It’s a tricky amp to use in some ways. One of the first of its kind, I kind of went away from using modeler amps but I do use a Boss GT-100 pedal now through a solid state amp…gets some great sounds .

This rocks, it should be the biggest hit of the summer!!🔥🔥
Thanks much!
Beautiful spicy rockin sound! Makes the truth a little easier for us to take. Rob is obviously a virtuoso poet, composer, singer and musician. All his work is great!
Thanks!
Excellent demo and vid and playing😊
Hi.I have two questiom: 1. How to use and save wah pedal on controllert? 2.How to use two or more effects in one presets? Thank you.
I've loved this song for many years but I know it from the Dust Poets version at the end of the film "Roller Blade Seven." Glad to finally find the original. "It's not about baseball."
Thank you very much, I wrote this song back in the 90’s! I was in the Dust Poets, I was the lead guitarist and singer. We never, did a full album. I appreciate the compliment! I may release a new better recorded version soon.
Wonderful performance. I recently saw Roller Blade Seven for the first time and it was awesome. My friend has been searching for an album release of the Dust Poets version of this song for years. Do you know if it exists? Were you in the Dust Poets?
Yes I was in the Dust Poets…I wrote this song back in the 90’s , thanks for the compliment . We never released a full album, I may put a version up online soon. Thanks again!
@@1rwjwith Please do! That would be amazing!
Great tune Rob! ✊🏼👏🏼👏🏼
it's my favorite sound!
Awesome Jambino! Cool tune!!
Thanks Andy, wrote this one about 10 years ago!
Thank-you 😊 xx
Thanks so very very very very much for sharing this with us 🙏🇨🇱🧡
Good video!
Where are the backup singers? The horn section. The way you used to play it at the Hollywood bowl when you opened up for Tom Petty (or don't you remember?)
Nice tune Rob!
Thank You
Very Nice TonePuppy! It's a hit, you know, for the kids!!
Thank you Mr, Loi, high praise from you and I know you are an honest man. What are you foing these days besides the studio work ? Band work has dried up for me. Hope you are doing well. My email on this wavelength is RWWITH512@gmail.com.
UN CESSO ASTRONOMICO!
Burbank? Wow. This guy is like the Bob Dylan of Burbank.
Thanks Danny....just playing in the apt.....
Gosh, when we did it 20 years ago, they were already gone. It's hard for me to do the math, but they are even more gone now. One of my many Favorite Rob songs. This is a beautiful version. Without my drumming I can hear everything better. I wish the kids could hear it! On the other hand, don't bother with the kids. They will never listen. Don't waste your time.
Thanks Danny! This Acapella App allows this video dubbing very limited...its only for phones or pads , audio tends to suffer. Yeah this is the only time I did this song anywhere since we recorded it. All the bars here I use to play are CLOSED FOR GOOD NOW. The Park, Viva Cantina, Joes too I think. I usually post on FACEBOOK ...GET QUITE A FEW VIEWS not that it does me much good.
Wow, that sounds great. Kind of like Beatle or something prog.
I have been playing some piano lately, can't really say I can "play" keyboards but during this whole lockdown for the plague I got a decent Casio and expanded my ability a little at least I can writevtunes on it! Gives them a different slant...I guess!
This is not a modeling amp. Only tubes can make the sounds it makes. The effects are digital, but the amp is all tubes
Is it? I heard it doesn't have output tubes.
You played great on this Rob 🔥🤙🏼
I just bought it... When I play distorted presets, the guitar sounds kinda artificial... I've tried headphones and recording in my pc too, it just sounds bad... Do you have the same problem? Is it normal ?
Yes, sounding shitty like that is a "feature" not a "bug".
I bought the original cybertwin in 2001 brand new. Still have it today along with a Peavey I bought new in the mid 80s and I've got a small Krate practice amp. I still love the cybertwin and now I'm playing both my les paul and my new Ultra Telecaster through it. The sounds are amazing.
Great song Rob! Love the lyric! You should see about getting that to some artists. Find a song plugger in Nashville. I could hear someone like Lyle Lovett doing it. Or any number of other artists.
Thanks Andy! Its my own little version of "Gnostic Gospel" . I would love to find a way to get it heard, may be a little quirky but then again so is Lyle!
Great songs evolve gracefully, as this newly-morphed version of Rob's "Return To Love" clearly shows. Chilli's rhythms know the Rob Witham vibe. Although the song needs no visuals, I think the accompanying video is clever and entertaining. Nice work, guys!
I guess I am from the Dylan school of arrangements. Plus probably because of recording circumstance, I never consider " definitive" versions to have been done and with video its something to do!
I have the first series. Like the one in this video. I bought it brand new in 2003. Still works great!
Me too but it cost me an arm and a leg ;)
😀 Nice upload, you have a new sub. Did you check FollowSM . c o m?! I recommend using it to promote your videos!!
Another timeless original from RW, performed flawlessly by Mr. Witham in LA & Mr. Hodgson in Fla. When they first performed this song together 47 years ago on a Gainesville, FL stage, no one at that time could've imagined how it would be performed again in the year 2020 or what our world would turn into. We need more timeless originals!
Performed by Rob Witham& Mark muddyharp Hodgson...
